BRING-IT-ON!!!!

It has been a really tough last two weeks. Every day has been 1-6 kids sent home due to this nasty bug going around. High temps. and vomitting...sometimes three per bucket!! Saying this, you can all appreciate how excited I am for the March break to begin.

Sarah and I are really excited...today is the last day of school before March break!! whooohoo
Since Sarah is with her "other" for the weekend, I will be getting things ready for a busy week. This is the run-down on what we have planned.
  • Monday/Tuesday-Quebec City-Val Cartier for some tubing.
  • Wed/Thursday-Ottawa-skating on the Canal, eating Beavertails and we took a hotel with and indoor water park!! (sounds fun until I have to put on a bathing suit)
  • Friday/Saturday and Sunday--Tremblant for some skiing and downtime at the condo

So, most likely I will need a vacation after this week coming...but not too worry...only 14 days of school and it is Easter break!!! whooohoooo

INTRODUCTIONS

I am sure everyone is wondering when I speak of "We" and "the kids" who I am exactly speaking of:) The kids refer to Sarah and Mitchell....and we refers to Myself and Nick:) This weekend in Tremblant was a fabulous sunny weekend. We had gone for a walk at the hill and we all had beavertails...yummy!!

Sarah and Nick fooling around at the condo...I think they were on a sugar high after eating a huge breakfast of ALOT of maple sugar...lol

Mitchell and Sarah...Grey Rocks...taking a much needed lunch break. Most times they will ski the whole day without coming in for lunch. They are having such a wonderful time they don't want to miss out.

Mitchell and Nick tubing...what a great afternoon!!

Sarah and Mitchell playing a game with Dad while he was visiting...great game for a family to play...lots of laughs..if you get a chance...it is called head bands.
So, as you all can see we have alot of fun together...and this winter has been a wonderful time.

BRING ON THE SNOW!!!!

This winter has gone by so fast for us this year. We have rented a condo up in Tremblant for the weekends that Sarah is with us. We have been fortunate enough to ski Tremblant, Grey Rocks, Mont Blanc, Belle Neige, Vallee Bluee, and Mont St. Saveur. The kids have been buying a pin at each hill we ski at and add them to their googles. They get pretty excited when we tell them we are going to a new hill....they both yell....PINS!!! lol

We had the pleasure of Dad and Ginette to visit us between Christmas and New Years. We did some skiing and also some tubing. Everyone seemed to really enjoy themselves. I do have to say though...we found another tubing hill and you would both be surprised to see the difference. The hill we discovered, you have to take a chair lift to the top of the mountain. The kids were so excited.

Stay tuned for some skiing pictures. We may have the next Nancy Green on our hands:)

MY LITTLE INDIAN

When we were children there were alot of references to indians...we were never corrected, but now you can't sing any of the same songs without getting the look.
Well....my little indian was in a play recently--Peter Pan...she played Lean Wolf. On behalf of her mom...I do have to say she was the cutest little indian I have ever seen.

They sang, danced and had their school orchestra play the intermissions. It was a wonderful way to spend a friday evening.

FUN FUN FUN

I just had to share...I was looking through some pictures, and since my two sisters are away I just wanted to share this moment with you. It was sooo funny to see!!
Hubie got his new mover this past summer...he was like a kid in a candy shop. His new machine works by using the handles...it did take him a bit to learn how to meneuver...one shed window and a couple of hours practice and he was like a pro...lol

Sarah thought we should pimp Papa's ride so we went off to the dollar store and put on bike tassles and a nice horn all from the dollar store...he looked pretty snazzy!!

WHY? BECAUSE. BUT WHY? BECAUSE!!

Well....everyone kept telling me..."Monique we never hear from you" , so I have decided to take a cue from both my sisters and try this blog thangggg:)

Sitting here yesterday I realized that we have taken over 300 pictures this winter and Sarah and I have loads to share with our family and friends.

Sarah and I have also decided that we will do this as a mother/daughter blog. So, sometimes it will be Sarah doing the blogging or myself.

Stay tuned we have loads to tell ya alllllll......
